Horror movies I've recently watched

So I am almost done with the semester so I'm hoping to pick this back up.

I can't make a super lengthy post right now, but I'd thought I'd share what I've watched on Netflix and a quick rating.

Audrey Rose: Really weird movie about a little girl that is seeing and feeling all these things. A young Anthony Hopkins is in this movie which is weird for me and probably shows how young I am. A strange movie that isn't sure if it's a horror, drama, or psychological thriller. Kinda slow in some parts. 2/5

Paranormal Asylum. I knew this would be bad but I was bored. Terrible acting but to be honest, 70 percent of the time I wasn't paying attention so this probably isn't that valid right now. Then again, if you can't hold my attention then... 0.5/5 for "effort".

The Town that Dreaded Sundown: I feel like this isn't a horror movie as much as it's like one of those crime shows that is depicting how a murder went down. I'm sure some people find it scary but it was kinda bland. 2/5

Pontypool: This movie is really interesting and different. I don't know that it necessarily works as much as it wants to as a horror movie, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. 3.5/5 for being entertaining and trying something new.

The Final: A group of bullied kids get together to get revenge on the bullies. It was kinda corny, but I thought it was kind of a decent effort and I appreciated the message in a way. 2.5/5 for a good after-school special type of message.

11/11/11: Strange boy is strange and weird things happen. It's just blah and not interesting. Skip this one. 1/5

House: Will have to come back to this one but I wanted to mention that I watched it at some point a while back because...

House 2: ...I watched House 2. Just don't do it. Just stick to the first one. This one is more about humor but ended up being too corny and campy for me and usually I can stick with the camp. 1/5

Arachnophobia: Pretty decent. I hate spiders though so I am biased. 3/5

The Damned: People are stranded in a house and an old man is suspected of doing bad things. People get possessed. Things happen. It was kinda well done for the effects, but nothing too crazy. 2.5/5

Cabin Fever Patient Zero: Not necessary but I'll give it a B for effort 'cause those special effects were kinda cool. Not much substance here but if you're bored and are interested in the idea of a patient zero then go for it. 2/5

Ok that's it. I'll be back soon. :)
